Black and Blue Jeans
Black and Blue Jeans
Avoided controversy jumped on the wagon
Turned my TV-radio-net-in-the-bag on
See for yourself don't anybody leave
Black and Blue jeans are here to believe
Materials button and zipper USA
Cut sewed and trimmed the Korea way
Looming collapse they had to do something
Infuse the economy get it pumping
Designer jeans they stigmatize you
Korea black America blue
Have a voice in freedom of nations
Help those guys out of their isolations
Characterize you will or as you may
Freedom bells will ring over there some day
Don't vandalize now American dreams
The world can use a few black and blue jeans

Jungle Lookout
Aloha Poets,
Beautiful birds inspire today's poem. Enjoy!
Cupcakes on Towers
Fuel a negotiated backyard farm
Your dance is the way I feel so warm
Spruced up palms down
Smart charm goes uptown
Harsh rosemary spicy glaze
Fires this missile through the haze
Auntie's antsy with closet chaos
Cupcakes on towers down in Taos
It was a dreamy fall off the ramp
Though I'm no rubber stamp
Confident ark meditation flowers
Your finishing touch my cupcakes on towers
Playful Ducks
Aloha Writers,
These ducks have the spirit of play. Enjoy!
Spirit of Play
Jostle a feather hustle the clocks
Inside a paradise paradox
Monster around stomp and roam
Active image call it a home
Do the good job not just have it
In the angel of pain strays a running rabbit
Points of duty to self and others
Surrounded by night and crying mothers
Quietly effective acts of sway
Survival before self teases away
Passing revelation ruffage and hay
No luggage allowed on this field of play

Nature's Whiskey
Aloha Poets,
Beauty is a pattern or reflection in a contrasting context or environment.
Flower photo inspires today's poem. Enjoy!
Nature's Whiskey
Paralysis slips beyond the fray
Anonymity concedes another day
Veiled as threats in curiosity
Speaking on condition of animosity
Horse traders race their ferocity
Striking a deal of actuality
Aversion to spinoffs emanate
Intensification outside the gate
Landscape the day beyond the rains
Whiskey your say get the gains
Rising tides sink the wild honey bee
In a nature's risky uncertainty

Halloween
Aloha Writers,
Halloween associates with Irish Immigrants. It comes to us, signifies the end of summer. Up close and getting closer through October, it can sense our various feelings of this past year.
The days leading up to Halloween (which is attributed to folklore) reveal a thin veil to a stronghold of spirits residing over a world of no disease or old age or death.
Family members and loved ones return to each other at the festival of Halloween. Costumes scare off any evil spirits that have joined in the festivities uninvited.
This cold and dark time of year brings thoughts of food, particularly. for winter; or, rather, it is the community together who lights an outdoor fire and throws in animal bones--from livestock, winter stores--that further wards off evil spirits in the form of a bone fire (which is nowadays a bonfire). Ceremonial flames from the bonfire light the darkened huts of the village one by one.
The village is ostensibly strengthened for the coming winter.
Today these needs are met with plastic masks and bags of candy.

Born In A Barn
Born In A Barn
Spells on me put a little hex
Elite little feats of the opposite sex
Assume the position macho man
Gotta' go right now gotta' make my stand
I heard a few words any man would dread
"Do it right be smart don't lose your head"
Whistle a tune then a happy song
Wait right here and I won't be long
Come back cool to get into bed
Asking me now how I left the head
A wince in my heart then a little blush
And a wink and a nod, "I did flush"
There in her eye I saw it real soon
Sweet girl friend lower a boom
With a yelp and a start and a jump to my feet
I ran back in to position the seat
Knew by now but a little too late
Selfish behavior had sealed my fate
Back in her arms I felt the heat
Sweating little bullets down to my feet
Assuming the position I entered my plea
Then I heard a sweet voice sentencing me
"This is no farm you little pup, were you born in a barn
You left the toilet seat up"
Spells on me put a little hex
Elite little feats of the opposite sex
Assume the position macho man
Gotta' go right now gotta' make my stand
I heard a few words any man would dread
"Do it right be smart don't lose your head"

Tropical Frenzy
Aloha ,
A photo can inspire a story. Stories from a photo can be a photo essay. Stories tell of the most memorable part of the image. Let's compose with the idea of story today. Enjoy!
Poetry For Our Times: The Unlit Farmhouse
Let me tell you what I know speaking easy soft and slow
Can you hear me I can only guess yet your eyes answer yes
The story starts so long ago comparative splendor most never know
Beginning as bubbles rising from brew in an unlit farmhouse or two
I know because I myself was there but no gambler's grimace I did wear
Emotion's elastic laughterby the fire kept warm the family from outside ire
Competing for attention with smiles abound awake in a home where love was found
Sift through my thoughts and still I see small children abound as Mother would read
Tears and laughter flowed so electric simple stories never eclectic
Impoverished hordes outside remained I only heard the story as it rained
Desire in the night only to learn as the fire gave light and wood would burn
The truth of the trill gave ourchances as creative thoughts did their little dance
The need of life to face the lonely to wash and shine and not be the only
Yet the thrill of the chase when I am alone wakes me soon takes me back to that home
Curry the favor of lifes little choices and still hear the call of those little voices
Poets of our time will seek their glory yet each one alone still tells their own story
State of the Union Inspired Poem
Clarity Above the Call: Now Here is America
Destiny has known procrastination yet senses of honor wake a nation
Come forward one and disagree all only to rise above the call
To lift from depths a fearless debate with hopes for the last day of hate
Dawnings of ages may come and go yet this one we must never forgo
Old adages remain throughout the ages as one defining moment yet still rages
Collective we stand to prove our innovation inviting to join all in conversation
Define the moment when the definitive rule yet identity can abide inside with cool
Now ingenuity again rears its knowing head in an unborn city that lies just ahead
A new dawn of day clarity rings true within our patriot game abide me and you
To be the first responder with fist unclenched to thirst and ponder economic stench
One nation shakes in this holy moment in a time its picture is posted as potent
Where optimism seeks a healthy wealthy ambition amid realms of public opinion
Debate with vision give and take pledges as home and hearth smooth all the edges
Wide girth to the new engagements we fight peacemeal between what's wrong and right
True peace can take a shot across the bow bold plan be a mover show the way somehow
Now providence include us all once again on any given day on any where or when
Key agendas its true we all can dispute yet history knows its her we salute
Let simple and honest and clear be our budget where skirmishes fail and cannot budge it
Plant economic gardens and dig what you may hint at an outline where all have a say
Self sufficience will suffice more than once or twice only beg your pardon and try to be nice
Uplift and be candid riff on the splendid rave and rant then see how it ended
Tow the big line batten down those taxes dig a deep fire line use your best axes
To blacken is no way just strengthen the day come together breech the tether get above the fray
As race and gender are no equity bender chase your hurrah and clarify now here is America
