Paddling Out

Aloha Poets,
Paddling out inspires today's poem. Enjoy!

Indie Mermaids Immersed

A living being set inside your mind
Composted story wets and whistles blind
Old familiar ground beyond a haziness float
Golden moments of counterbalance adds tote

Embark on the outset where flag bearers drown
And miss the misty eyes so deep and so brown
Dispirited life covers half the world blind
Low key mayhem under your deep waters sublime

Experts wind down studies of ocean swirls
Expected winds downturn as banners unfurl
Pride of the waves nestled below a gale's lee
Inside her ship's galley a pot of hot tea

She swims with cowfish yet started star-crossed
Across seas living green under paradise lost
Her kind of keeping conjures a color oasis
Peaceful bamboo and far off island places

This flow of undercurrent a small pond never sees
Any further talk of retreat creates peace virtually
These surfaces can only soothe and yet never harden
The only church she's known is this indie tech garden

All facets are faucets pouring out natural charms
Met a physical swarming now held in her arms
Never at the expense of the narrow and weak
Clamors above safety surfacing for a peek

How it all looks down there fades with the tides
Boasting no divine stature even as danger hides
Her unique ways leak out into plasma water
Sounds invitational the lantern of Neptune's daughter
