Surf Wagon

Aloha Poets,
Surf wagon inspires today's poem. Enjoy!

Eateries Streetwise ShoyuMayo

Cosmopolitan cuisine captures the landscape
Something universal lies within quaint escape
As reverse disease diet makes healthy junket
Junk food zaps energy, even tries to plunk it

In universal continental condiment desire
France and Japan enter as continents aspire
Oils beaten with egg inside vinegar glaze
Emulsified perfection lecithin mayonnaise

Trek creamy cuisine roadhouses mortar and brick
Wary travelers come in for the thin and thick
Eateries streetwise allotments align in path
Taste of home while you shape a wide swath

A little luck can put you on top of your game
Learning of eateries streetwise brings the pain
Old common ground stands a familiar friend
Kitchens in kindness hoping for hands to lend

In victory form mayonnaise rises above
As soy sauce custodial shows the love
Infatuation stirs salty fat to intrigue
As mayo and shoyu enter the league

Olive oil whisked egg yolk somehow pleases
Fermented soy bean with roasted grain teases
Salt on a journey handy shoyu stays true
White cream before battle mayo serves cue

Contribute a carbon delicious taste "umami"
Brewed in traditional adage of culture tsunami
Old stand-by in the shadows keep travelers strong
Salty consistency mixing a Mediterranean song

A journey so sacred both half worlds away
Mayo and shoyu simply came to play
Oil and vinegar joins emulsified egg zest
Soy bean grain fermented on hamburger quest
